Rohit Sharma Thanks His Fans And Reminds Them Of “Other Duties”

It has been a phenomenal year for Rohit Sharma. He was the ultimate star for the Indian cricket team this year, having given us many magical moments on-field with his brilliance with the bat. He continued to make waves in the just-concluded three-match ODI series against West Indies.

In the three-match ODI series, Rohit Sharma gave his vital contribution and scored  36, 159 and 63 runs respectively. The ‘Hitman’ Sharma was also given the title of the player of the series for his aggregate score of 258 runs in the series.

Rohit Sharma entertained the fans throughout the year and as the year is ending, Rohit Sharma took to his Twitter and wrote a heartfelt post.

Well, after a day of the Indian cricket team winning the series against West Indies, Rohit Sharma and posted an emotional tweet describing the great year he had. Thanking his fans for the support, he wrote:

“What a way to finish the year. I’ll take most of that year what we did as a team and personally too. Thankful to all fans of the game for getting behind the team and supporting. Now time to get ready for the next set of duties,”

During an interview, after the match, Rohit Sharma recalled his rich vein of form in 2019. Talking to media reporters he said:

“There’s an exciting year coming up. I understand my batting really well… In fact, even better now… But I want to play within my limits. Knowing the game plan I want to execute is very important.”

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has been put on rest for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka that will kickstart from January 5.
