Rohit Sharma is back!: On Tuesday, during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians failed to give the best of their abilities as they delivered their worst performance of the tournament, but the fans were thrilled to see the main man of Mumbai Indians back on the field.

After missing out on as many as four games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 13, the skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sarma market his attendance as he made a surprise return in the last game of the league stage of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

Well, a lot has already been said and written about the Hitman Sharma after he sustained the hamstring injury during a match against KXIP. Following the league, the star cricketer of India wasn’t included in the playing XI of the team for the upcoming Australia tour.

After the match, Rohit Sharma talked about his injury and gave an update about his health. Talking about the same, Rohit expressed his feelings and said that he is happy to be back. He also said that he is looking forward to playing a few more games. He said:

Not the day we want to remember, probably our worst performance of the season. We wanted to try a few things, it didn’t go our way. We knew dew was going to play a factor, but we didn’t play good cricket today. I was happy to be back, it’s been a while. I’m looking forward to play few more games here, let’s see what happens. It (hamstring) is fine, absolutely. We play at Wankhede where there’s dew in the second innings. You have to back your skills, and believe that you can get people out. They played good shots in the powerplay, and that helped them. It’s a very funny format. It’s always nice to forget was has happened, and focus on the present. They (Delhi) are a good side, so it will be a good challenge to face them. You want to leave this performance as quickly as possible. We’ll get back to the drawing board and figure things out.”

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will now be seen locking their horns against the Delhi Capitals in the first match of playoffs on Thursday.
