Rohit Sharma Wished India's U-19 Team For World Cup Final

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian senior cricket team, sent his regards to the young Indian squad competing against Australia in the U19 Men’s World Cup Final 2024 in Benoni, South Africa. Sharma expressed his support for Uday Saharan and his team on social media, highlighting the significance of the match at Willowmoore Park.

The U19 World Cup final mirrored the senior men’s World Cup final in 2023, featuring India against Australia. The match took place on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Despite India’s impressive record and being the favorites, Australia emerged victorious. Travis Head’s sensational century led Australia to victory, marking a disappointing outcome for Rohit Sharma and the Indian team.

Meanwhile, Australia won the toss and chose to bat on an overcast morning at Willowmoore Park, with a healthy crowd present for the important age-group final.

India maintained the same team lineup after winning all their matches leading up to the final. Australia, on the other hand, narrowly escaped defeat against Pakistan in a thrilling last-over encounter in the semifinals last week.
