Suryakumar Yadav’s stunning effort of 117 runs went in vain as the Indian cricket team was defeated by England by 17 runs in the third and final T20I match at Trend Bridge in Nottingham. Suryakumar Yadav produced an incredible knock as he displayed his power-hitting skills to reach his maiden T20I ton during the game.

Suryakumar Yadav played a terrific knock

Despite India’s 17-run defeat in the 3rd T20I, Suryakumar won the hearts of cricket fans worldwide with his jaw-dropping performance.

Chasing a massive target of 216 runs, Suryakumar Yadav stepped up for the team when the team needed him the most. Surya formed a partnership with Shreyas Iyer and brought the momentum back to the game, after a top-order collapse. Together, they added 119 runs stand off 61 balls.

Yadav stood strong as he displayed immense fightback and determination, while the wickets kept falling at the other end. However, he was dismissed in the penultimate over to put the England cricket team back in the driver’s seat.
