S Sreesanth, the talented Indian cricketer who recently completed his seven-year ban from all forms of cricket because of his involvement in the spot-fixing scandal of 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League, is all set to make a comeback on the cricket field.

Sreesanth, though, does not boast of an impressive track record in international cricket, however, his contribution, his behavior on the field, and the controversies, always kept him in the limelight.

Well, Sreesanth last played a professional game 7.5 years ago in the IPL 2013 against Kings XI Punjab. After the spot-fixing scandal, many thought that Sreesanth’s cricketing career will be oer post his conviction. However, he is now acquitted of all match-fixing charges by the honorable supreme court and his lifetime ban was reduced to a seven years ban and the speedster is now all set to make a comeback, proving all of his critics wrong.

Despite nearing the age of 38 years, Sree is very determined that he is vying to play in both first-class cricket and also in IPL. He claimed that he will do anything and everything in his power to make a comeback.

Now, Sreesanth will be seen playing in the President’s T20 Cup hosted by the Kerala Cricket Association. Talking about Sreesanth’s stint in the upcoming tournament, Sajan K. Varghese, president of Kerala Cricket Association said:

“Yes, definitely. Sreesanth will be an attraction. Every player will be in a bio-bubble in one hotel in Alappuzha. We are looking at the first week of December. The clearance from the Kerala government is the main thing,”

He added:

“With the support of Dream11, it is a league format that we have planned. All the teams, from different age-groups, are from Kerala,”
