Sachin Baby Posted An Emotional Tweet After He Went Unsold In IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions: The two-day exciting and scintillating Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction ended on Sunday with all ten teams completing their full quota of players. On day one, India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan turned out to be the most expensive buy by Mumbai Indians (MI) for ₹15.25 crore.

Ishan Kishan became the second most expensive player in the IPL history to be ever snapped up at the auctions after Yuvraj Singh (₹16 crores in 2015). Chennai Super Kings also left everyone surprised as they roped in Deepak Chahar for a whopping INR 14 crores, making him the most expensive bowler.

While there were some surprising bids during the auctions, several players went unsold too. Among many, India’s ace domestic cricketer Sachin Baby also went unsold during the IPL 2021 mega-auctions.

Later, disappointed with the proceedings, Sachin Baby took to his Twitter and expressed his emotions after not he failed to find any buyer in the IPL 2022 mega-auction. In his tweet, while he accepted that it was very disappointing the way things turned out but he also promised that he won’t give up and will keep working hard till he gets back stronger. He wrote:

“Very disappointing not to be a part of this year @IPL ,but I won’t give up I wil keep working hard and i wil cme bak stronger next year!!! I am wishing good luck to all the teams and all the players #ipl2022”

Sachin Baby was released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the mega-actions. He was bought by the RCB camp during IPL 2021 only at a base price of INR 20 lakh. The left-hander warmed the bench for all the games RCB played.
