The Midas Touch! After a blockbuster show with the bat in the first innings, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has stolen the show with the ball as well, in the ongoing 1st Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali.

On Day 2 of the ongoing Test match, Jadeja used his sword not once, not twice but thrice during the game as he breached the 150-run mark, after smashing his second Test hundred. The star all-rounder, who walked out to bat at no. 7, piled runs with ease and never looked in discomfort during his knock.

During his stunning knock, Ravindra Jadeja first formed a 104-run partnership with Rishabh Pant, who missed his century by only 4 runs. Following this, Ravi Ashwin provided Jaddu great support from the other end of the pitch and together the duo added 130-runs.

After Ashwin was dismissed on 61 runs, Jadeja joined hands with Mohammed Shami and together they increased Sri Lanka’s misery. Jadeja remained unbeaten on 175 runs as India captain Rohit Sharma declared the innings. His stunning knock was laced with 17 fours and 3 sixes.

Ravindra Jadeja continued with his blockbuster show on Day 3 as well, but this time with the ball. He has already picked a five-wicket haul. He led an inspired bowling performance and helped the Indian side to take a first-innings lead of 400 against Sri Lanka.

This was the 10th five-wicket haul in an innings for the 33-year-old all-rounder and he went through the Sri Lankan lower order and tail, finishing with the figures of 5-41. With this, Ravindra Jadeja became only the sixth cricketer to register a score of 150+ and take a five-wicket haul in the same Test match.

Meanwhile, India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was all praises for the talented all-rounder. Sachin took to Twitter and hailed Ravindra Jadeja for his wonderful performance. He wrote:

“.@imjadeja is turning everything into gold! ?
Wonderful performance. #INDvSL”
