Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar finally puts an end to the never-ending debate ‘Tendulkar vs Kohli’ debate. Sachin Tendulkar, who is hailed as one of the greatest batters to have played for the Indian cricket team, has represented the Indian side for 24 years.
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has been compared to batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on multiple occasions throughout his career, all thanks to his amazing numbers and consistency. Many touted Virat Kohli to equal and even surpass Tendulkar’s records in the Test and ODI formats of the game.
Time and again, Kohli himself has dismissed any comparison between the two, stating that Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest of all time and Tendulkar is one of the reasons why he himself started playing cricket but the comparisons have continued whenever Virat Kohli broke a record held by the Master Blaster.
Over the years, several cricketers and experts have compared the two and have given their opinion on the matter. Now Sachin Tendulkar himself has waded into the debate. Well, recently, in an interview with Graham Bensinger on his YouTube channel, Tendulkar was asked who the better cricketer is among the two of them in a rapid-fire round of questions.
Responding to this, Sachin has not put one above the other. He said: “How about having both of us in one team,”
Further, Sachin also said that he prefers golf over racquetball. He was asked what he would prefer, a hole-in-one in golf or a double century in cricket, Tendulkar replied: “Wouldn’t be a bad idea to get a double hundred and then score a hole in one.”
