New Zealand’s star bowler Kylie Jamieson turned out to be a hero for his team as he gave an incredible performance with the ball and troubled the Indian batsmen throughout the high-voltage clash. He has had an amazing start to his Test career as he has already picked up 46 wickets at an average of 14.17.

Kylie picked a 5-wickets haul in the first innings of the WTC final, whereas he picked the crucial wickets of Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara.  The all-rounder has been receiving praises from all corners for his heroics at the WTC Final and the latest one to applaud his performance is the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Recently, in a video on his YouTube channel, Sachin Tendulkar talked about the performance of Kylie Jamieson in the finale of the World Test Championship against India.  Showering praises on Kylie, Sachin made a heart-winning statement. He said:

“Jamieson is a fantastic bowler and a utility all-rounder in the New Zealand team. He is going to become one of the leading all-rounders in world cricket. When I had seen him last year in New Zealand, he impressed me with both bat and ball,”

Furthermore, Sachin Tendulkar pointed out the unique quality of Kylie Jamieson and opined that unlike other Kiwi pacers, who depend on the swing, Kylie makes great use of his height to extract bounce and seam movement from the pitch itself. He said:

“He is a different bowler from Southee, Boult, Wagner and de Grandhomme. This guy likes to hit the deck hard and likes to move the ball off the seam, while the others try to swing the ball away towards the slips. There were a few variations where he angled his wrists and bowled a booming inswinger. What I likes was his consistency and he never looked out of rhythm,”
