Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has clarified his stance on the recurring reports circulating on social media about him picking an all-time XI. On Friday, Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter and denied reports of him picking an all-time XI list. He also urged the fans to report such articles as ‘fake’.

Well, several reports and videos have been circulating on social media, which claim that the ‘Master Blaster’ has assembled the greatest XI of all time. Interestingly, as per the reports, Sachin excluded legends like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni from his list.

Sachin Tendulkar’s fake all-time playing XI circulating on social media: Virender Sehwag, Sunil Gavaskar, Brian Lara, Viv Richards, Jacques Kallis, Sourav Ganguly, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Wasim Akram, Harbhajan Singh, and Glenn McGrath.

Earlier in January this year, 100mb issued a clarification over the fake news articles. 100mb shared an official statement from the official spokesperson of the SRT Sports Management PVT LTD, that read: “There have been various news articles and links on social media about an all-time XI chosen by Sachin Tendulkar. We would like to clarify that this is false news. And no such list has been composed or circulated to any news channel, reporter or on social media”

Clarifying his stance on the matter, Sachin wrote: “There are recurring reports about an all time XI list being picked by me. These are false, and if you come across these, kindly report the same as fake.”

Regretfully, we at ‘The Cricket Lounge’ also carried the story as it was trending but we have now taken it down after the clarification issued by the Master himself. We apologize for being irresponsible and pledge to be more responsible in the future. We also urge the fans to not circulate any such report which claims that Sachin has picked his all-time xi.
