Nothing brings the Indian fans as much as joy as a victory over arch-rivals Pakistan. Much to the amusement of Indian fans, India Under 19 team has thrashed Pakistan in the semi-finals of the ongoing Under 19 World Cup.

Chasing 273, Pakistan was bowled out on just 69 runs hence India giving India a huge victory of 203 runs margin.

Batting first India gave Pakistan a target of 273 as Shubman Gill clobbered a brilliant century to see his team reach 272. Prithvi Shaw chipped in with a knock of 41 and stitched an 89 run opening partnership with Manoj Kalra who scored 47. In the lower middle order Ankul Roy played a handsome cameo of 33.

Shubman Gill has been in sensational form throughout the tournament. He completed his century in the last over of the innings and remained unbeaten on 102 from just 94 balls. This batsman is surely taking long strides in international cricket.

This is one of the biggest victories ever as Indian bowlers did the rest in the second innings. For India Ishan Porel was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4 wickets for 17 runs. Pakistan was bowled out for just 69 in 29.3 overs as India registered a historic and an authoritative win.

India will now face Australia in the finals and having defeated Australia by 100 runs in the league stage, India would be favorites to win this.

Sachin after hailing the team for a comprehensive win has also wished the young lads for the finals. India would now face Australia in the finals and we are all hopeful that India would bring the cup home.
