Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan is once again is all set to rule the box-office charts with the third installment of his movie ‘Dabangg’. Recently, Salman Khan made an appearance in Star Sports’ pre-match show ahead of the first ODI between India and West Indies on Sunday, where the cricketer talked about cricket and also went on to reveal his favorite cricketer.

Well, Salman Khan’s favorite cricketer is also the favorite of millions of people out there, who have the utmost respect for the cricketer. And the cricketer is none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni.




MS Dhoni, the legendary cricketer has millions of fans across the world, who not just follow him but treat him as a demigod. And seems like Salman Khan is one of them.

At the Star Sports’ pre-match show ahead of the first ODI between India and West Indies, Salman Khan was asked to name his favorite cricketer, to which the cricketer said that MS Dhoni is his favorite cricketer and he is a Dabangg player. He said:




“I personally know Kedar Jadhav…Also, my favorite cricketer is MS Dhoni. He is a Dabangg player,”

Salman Khan was also accompanied by his Dabanng’s co-star Kiccha Sudeep, who is playing the villain in Dabangg 3. He also revealed his favorite cricketer and his all-time favorite as well. He said:

“My favorite player is the one who plays well on that day. But what we see as fans is the respect each player has towards each other,”

He added:

“We can visibly see the players stand and cheer for the achievements of their teammates – with such a positive attitude, we can freely have our favourites. My all-time favorite has to be Anil Kumble sir, and I also like Rohit Sharma”

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is currently on a sabbatical from international cricket and has not played for India since the conclusion of the 2019 World Cup. Recently, he made it clear that he would not like to answer any questions regarding his future until January.
