Sambit Bal’s Tweet Is A Big Lesson For All The IPL Franchises: Young Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep Singh has been receiving praises from all corners for his incredible performance last night after he defended 12 runs in the last over with Sanju Samson, who played the innings of his life.

Sanju Samson, who had already scored a whopping 119 runs, looked all set to smash a six off the last ball, however, Arshdeep shattered all his hopes with his mesmerizing spell. Arshdeep kept his cool and bowled brilliant last over to seal the thrilling 4-run victory for Punjab Kings.

Among many, Sambit Bal, who is the editor-in-chief of the ESPNCrickinfo also took to his twitter and posted a brilliant tweet. His tweet is a big lesson for all the big IPL franchise who spend a huge amount of money on overseas cricketers.

In his tweet, Sambit claimed that the Punjab Kings spent a lot of money on the overseas cricketers, however, at the end of the day it was uncapped player Arshdeep Singh, who saved Punjab Kings. He wrote:

“For all the money they spent on two overseas, it was the uncapped Arshdeep that saved Punjab Kings the blues today #RRvPBKS”

Meanwhile, later after the match, Arshdeep Singh revealed how he stopped Sanju Samson from hitting the last ball six. He said that the plan was to bowl full and wide to Samson. “The field was set, the plan was to make Samson play wider, the plan was to bowl wide yorkers to Samson and if we executed that, it would have been harder for Samson to get under,”
