Speaking about the same, Sarfaraz said: “The game is all about patience. If we have to play Test cricket, we have to be patient. In life, there are times when we rush ourselves. I would get emotional about my wait to get into the team. My father would always say, keep working hard and you would be unstoppable. Having self-belief and patience are very important. I am happy for my father. In a country that boasts of such a big population, it is a proud feeling to be a part of this Indian team.”

Notably, Sarfaraz Khan’s outstanding century against the England Lions in the second unofficial Test in Ahmedabad earned him the Player of the Match title. Following this achievement, he was selected to join the Indian Test side, replacing KL Rahul. This opportunity opens up the possibility of Sarfaraz making his Test debut.
In Hyderabad, India faced challenges against debutant Tom Hartley in spin-friendly conditions. If the Vizag pitch offers similar assistance to spinners, the Indian team seeks more practice.
