Scotland Cricket Thanked Team India For Their Amazing Gesture After The Match

The Indian cricket team defeated Scotland to up their chances in the ongoing T20 World Cup tournament. After 2 back-to-back defeats in the first two games of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 to Pakistan and New Zealand, the Indian cricket team bounced back in the tournament by making winning with a huge margin against Afghanistan and Scotland. This win has increased their chances of making it to the top 4 of the high-voltage tournament.

Following the clash, a few members of the Indian cricket team visited the dressing room of the Scotland cricket team and shared their experiences with the cricketers. The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravi Ashwin, among others, were seen sharing their experiences and having a chat with Scotland cricketers.

The heart-touching gesture of the Indian cricket team was captured by the Scotland cricket team and is now going viral on the internet. Sharing the pictures via their official Twitter account, Scotland Cricket wrote:

“Huge respect to @imVkohli and co. for taking the time.”

For the unversed, ahead of the India vs Scotland clash in the T20 World Cup fixture, the skipper of Scotland cricket team Kyle Coetzer had invited the Indian cricket team to their dressing room to share their experiences with the Scotland team. He had expressed desire of his team to have a chat with the Indian cricketers. He had said:

“We would, they are excellent ambassadors of the game. We want our guys to speak to them, be it Kohli or Williamson or Rashid Khan. That is the only and best way to learn. We used to be able to do it in the pubs before, but now we cannot.”

He added:

“The squad will learn from every experience. To get to play against the likes of India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh is just brilliant. It is a good experience playing against the best at the top level. The guys will come away with a lot more life experiences, not just cricket experiences. We are ranked 12th in the world and while some people may talk about the gulf, but I believe it is a good achievement,”
