However, the tweet didn’t go down well with the Rajasthan Royals franchise who decided to take a friendly dig at Scott Styris.
Rajasthan Royals via their official twitter handle responded to Scott’s stating that they are saving the tweet for now in order to prove the cricketer wrong later on. In a way, Rajasthan Royals have taken this as a challenge to not finish at the end of the table in IPL 2020. Rajasthan Royals wrote:
“Just casually saving the tweet here.”

Well, the banter didn’t end there as the tweet of Rajasthan Royals soon caught the attention of Scott Styris, who replied by clarifying that he would be happy to be proved wrong by Rajasthan Royals. Not just this, Scott Styris took a dig at Ish Sodhi, who has been appointed as the RR’s spin consultant for IPL 2020. He wrote:
“Love it! Would love nothing better than you to prove me wrong.
BUT… you’ve got my boy Ish “reetinder” Sodhi there helping you out… Can’t back you on this alone”

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals are looking a strong team this year. The team will be led by Steve Smith and will have players like Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler, who will be seen playing crucial role for their team.
The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League will kickstart from September 18th in UAE and will end on 10th November.
