Kolkata Knight Riders’ journey in the eleventh edition of Indian Premier League, came to an end last night, after the team lost the match to Sunrisers Hyderabadby 13 runs at the famous Eden Gardens of Kolkata. The match was very crucial for both the teams as it was the last chance for both the teams to enter the finale of Indian Premier League.

However, the team started brilliantly but somehow lost it’s grip at the end. The team made every possible efforts to win the match, however, the players of Sunrisers Hyderabad outplayed the KKR players.

Last night, the owner of the team, Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t present at the stands to cheer for his team, however, he made sure to express his feelings through an Instagram post, telling the players of KKR that they should be proud of themselves. He posted a very sweet message for the players of his team.

Kolkata Knight Riders is now out of the league. The finale of the tournament will take be held on Sunday between two leading teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings.
