Virat Kohli showcased a batting masterclass in the first innings of the ongoing fourth Test against England. Virat Kohli batted with a lot of patience and scored his third double hundred in Test cricket. Kohli batted for 340 balls and scored 235 runs.

Bollywood star and the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Shah Rukh Khan, used his twitter profile to congratulate Virat Kohli on his achievement. This is what Shah Rukh Khan tweeted during Virat Kohli’s innings:

Nothing better than to watch @imVkohli bat so sublime on a day off. Now to sit back & watch a test match after so many days.

— Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) December 11, 2016

Virat Kohli’s consistent run in all three forms of cricket is now the benchmark for any batsmen in world cricket. Virat now has 41 international hundreds and many believe that his best is still to come. Only two Indian batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar (100) and Rahul Dravid (48), have more international hundreds than Virat Kohli.
