Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the opening ceremony of WPL’s second season will feature performances by Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, and Tiger Shroff. The tournament begins on February 23 with Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals facing off in Bengaluru. Matches will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi until the summit clash on March 17.

The WPL’s 2024 season will maintain the format from the previous year, where the top three teams from the league stage advance to the playoffs. The team topping the league table secures a spot in the final, while the second and third-placed teams face off in the Eliminator on March 15. Mumbai Indians, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, emerged as champions in the inaugural season by defeating Delhi Capitals.
