Recently, he was at it again, when he picked his World Cup XI during an Instagram live session with news anchor Sana Bucha. During an interactive live session, Shahid Afridi picked the Indian skipper Virat Kohli as the only Indian in his playing XI, while neglecting legendary cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Imran Khan and many others.
While picking the all-time World Cup XI, Shahid Afridi named Saeed Anwar and Adam Gilchrist as two openers for his team. Ricky Ponting, who led Australia to back to back World Cup titles, was picked for No. 3 position.

For 4th position, Shahid Afridi picked Virat Kohli, who is also the only Indian in Shahid Afridi’s team. The Indian skipper is followed by former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq at No.5 with Jacques Kallis occupying the all-rounder’s spot at No.6.
Shahid Afridi’s bowling line-up is an attack which was dominated by Pakistan and Australia with the likes of talented bowlers like Wasim Akram, Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Shoaib Akhtar and Saqlain Mushtaq.
