Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi was left in awe of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s dedication during the net session. Virat Kohli, who has been going through a tough phase with the bat, is giving his 100% during net sessions.
On Tuesday, Virat Kohli, who is currently leading Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, shared a video of himself where he can be seen batting in the nets. Though, Virat has strained a wee bit with the bat but he has led his team brilliantly. Under the leadership of Virat, RCB has picked up 16 points from 13 matches in the league phase of the cash-rich tournament. He must be high on confidence as his team has already qualified for the playoffs.
Placed at No.3 in the points table, RCB lost their 5th match of the season last night in a match against SunRisers Hyderabad. They had the chance of toppling Chennai Super Kings, led by MS Dhoni, to the second position in the points table, however, they lost the match by 4 runs.
Ahead of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Virat Kohli was seen enjoying a fruitful net session at his franchise camp on Tuesday. Refreshing his abilities with the bat, run machine Virat Kohli was seen hammering the RCB bowlers in a practice session.
Impressed with his hitting abilities and dedication, legendary Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi hailed the RCB skipper on Twitter. Afridi praised Kohli for always giving his 100 percent in the practice sessions. Afridi took to his Twitter and wrote:
