Indian won the Durban ODI by 6 wickets while at The Centurion, India posted a handsome 9 wicket win. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have shown great form but Rohit Sharma not being among runs is a cause of worry for India.

ROHIT SHARMA’s FADING FORM

Rohit Sharma was under scrutiny for his form in the test series. He was then dropped from the 3rd test owing to his bad form. The ODI series has been no different. he got out cheaply in both the One Day Internationals and his getting out early could have cost India if the targets were not so modest.

He is a class player, there is no doubt about it and one of the greatest ODI players but his form has become a cause of worry.

“I feel Rohit is playing well, looking at the way he is timing the ball. Even in the last match, he was playing really good. Unfortunately, he got out but, I don’t feel concerned about his batting at all. He has performed so well right from the Champions Trophy, till now.

Sometimes it does happen that you don’t score runs. But what matters the most is how he is timing the ball. There is no problem at all with his form. I think he just needs one good inning, to solve all problems,”
