Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has turned out to be an angel in disguise for the migrants around the nation as he is tirelessly working day and night to help them reach their homes. Sonu has been arranging transportation for hundreds of people out there who are stranded away from their homes because of the nationwide lockdown.
Recently, in an interview, Sonu Sood expressed his feelings about all the kind work he has been doing. He had said:
“I feel it is my duty to help the migrants, the heartbeats of our country. We have seen migrants walking on the highways with their families and kids. We just can’t sit in the AC and tweet and show our concern till we don’t go on the roads, till we don’t become one of them. Otherwise they will not have the trust that there is someone standing there for them. So I have been coordinating for their travels, for permissions from different states,”
Social media is flooded with tweets and posts appreciating Sonu Sood for the brilliant work he has been doing amidst the pandemic. Several celebrities have also taken to their social media to appreciate Sonu Sood for his heroics.
On Monday, Shikhar Dhawan took to his social media and posted a tweet, showering praises on Sonu Sood. In his tweet, Shikhar appreciated Sonu Sood for his heroic efforts in sending the migrants to their homes. Shikhar wrote:
