Shikhar Dhawan, who was playing for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, could not feature in the match on Thursday because of an injury he faced while fielding vs Maharashtra. Because of the injury, he will be staying out of action for a few days.

Yesterday, Shikhar Dhawan took to his twitter and shared a few pictures of himself from the hospital where he was taken to. In the picture, he can be seen bringing cheer to the whole hospital.

Sharing the pictures, Shikhar also wrote an inspirational message and also gave an update about his injury. He wrote:

“We Fall, We Break, but then…. We Rise. We heal and we overcome, and the only thing you have control over is how you respond to any situation. Here’s to being positive and happy in every situation that life throws at you. Will be back in action in 4-5 days.”

The tweet was soon flooded with comments and tweets from fans wishing for the speedy recovery of the Indian opener. However, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya saw the funny side of his tweet and trolled him hilariously.

In the reply, Pandya had sarcastically questioned Dhawan asking whether the whole hospital was helping him recover. He wrote:

“Haha Jatta pura hospital theek kar raha tha?,”
