[VIDEO] Shikhar Dhawan Hilariously Trolls Pakistan’s Fielding On Twitter

Veteran India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan roasted the Pakistan cricket team on Twitter for their poor and comical fielding during their warm-up match against Australia.

Australia and Pakistan met in their second warm-up fixture for the World Cup 2023 on Tuesday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Aussies, batting first, piled up 351 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

During their innings, they got three extra runs courtest of some lethargic, terrible, and funny fielding efforts from Mohammad Wasim Jnr and Mohammad Nawaz. This led to a spate of memes and their trolling on social media, and joining the bandwagon was Shikhar Dhawan.

On the first ball of the 23rd over of Australia’s innings, Marnus Labuschagne tucked a ball from Haris Rauf onto the square of the legside. Wasim ran in from fine leg and Nawaz from deep square leg. Both bent a bit and let it go for each other. Eventually, the ball passed between both of them and went for four. What should have been just a single turned into a boundary!

The pair received heavy trolling on social media. Even Shikhar Dhawan, who is not part of Team India’s ODI squad anymore, trolled them to the surprise of the fans.

“Pakistan & fielding never ending love story” Dhawan tweeted.

Meanwhile, Pakistan had lost their first warm-up match vs New Zealand, where the Kiwis chased down the target of 346 runs comfortably. Pakistan’s bowling woes continued as Australia cracked 351 runs today.
