Yet another time Virat Kohli has got the cricket fraternity in awe of him. The Indian captain smashed his 33rd ODI ton yesterday at Durban. This was Kohli’s first ODI ton in South Africa and his 20th in chases. We are indeed looking at the best chase master ever to have played the game.

At just the age of 29, Virat Kohli has the most ODI hundreds in chases which is incredible. Not just this, he is only second after Sachin Tendulkar on the list of most ODI hundreds. Sachin has 49 from 463 matches.

SHOAIB AKHTAR PRAISES KOHLI, COMPARES HIM TO A CHEETAH

Former Pakistan speedster has always loved to see Kohli bat. He has always heaped praises for Kohli and the Rawalpindi Express could not hold himself back yet again. This is what Shoaib Akhtar Tweeted.

Akhtar said that when it comes to chases, its either the Cheetah or the Indian skipper, Virat Consistent Kohli.

After winning the third test, India has continued the winning momentum and has thrashed South Africa in the first ODI at Durban. Chasing a total of 270, Virat Kohli helped India’s cause with a brilliant ton and his first in ODIs in South Africa. Twitter is elated as India take a 1-0 lead in the 6 match ODI series.

After South Africa posted a total of 269 for 8 India registered a comfortable win by 6 wickets and 4.3 overs to spare. The Indian captain was sensational in India’s chase as he scored 12 from 119 balls. He was supported by Ajinkya Rahane’s brave knock of 79 which came from 86 balls.

After this knock, Virat Kohli is being hailed as the best chase master ever. Kohli has proved that there is no venue and no team he can’t score a ton against. Virat Kohli fans are just delighted at this knock and they are all drenched in celebration.
