Shoaib Akhtar Hits Back At The ICC For Taking Steve Smith’s Side

Shoaib Akhtar, the former Pakistani pacer never fails to grab the headlines with his controversial remarks. Recently, he created a stir on social media after he claimed that he can dismiss Steve Smith in just four balls. After his tweet, the former pacer found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling on social media.
It all started when Shoaib Akhtar replied to a tweet of ESPNCricinfo and claimed that he can dismiss Smith in just four balls. He wrote:
“Even today, 3 hurting bouncers and i can dismiss @stevesmith49 on the 4th ball. Lol,”

After this, ICC couldn’t stop themselves from taking a dig at Shoaib Akhtar over his tweet. In their tweet, ICC shared a series of images and brutally trolled former Pakistan’s pacer. The first image is of Michael Jordan who can be seen looking down as if he is reading something. The image was followed by the second image – a screenshot of Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet. And the best part came with the third image where Michael Jordan can be seen laughing away.

Now, Shoaib Akhtar has finally reacted to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) tweet. In his tweet, Shoaib Akhtar blamed ICC for throwing “neutrality out of the window.” He wrote:
“A symbolic tweet, how ICC has thrown neutrality out of the window. Basically this is how the state of affairs are run there :).”

Shoaib Akhtar also shared a video of himself, where he took a sly dig at ICC for their tweet. In the video, he can be seen bowling with sheer pace and troubling batsmen. Sharing the video, he asked the ICC to find a new emoji or meme to troll him. He wrote:
“Dear @icc, find a new meme or Emoji. Sorry i couldn’t find any, only found some real videos,”
