Young and talented Indian cricketer Shubman Gill gave it back to some social media users who posted some distasteful and insulting comments on Gill’s batting style.

It all happened when Kolkata Knight Riders shared Shubman Gill’s picture via their official Instagram account. The post was soon flooded with reactions from the fans on it. While most of the fans were praising Gill and wished him all the luck for IPL 2021, however, one of the users caught Shubman’s attention with his distasteful comment.

In his comment, the fan tried to take a dig at Gill’s strike rate in last year’s IPL. He wrote: “What a tuk-tuk.”

Shubman was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a fitting reply to it. Gill decided to give the troll the taste of his own medicine by shutting him up with a brilliant reply that read:

“I am right where I want to be Mr. NOBODY.”

Here, check out the interaction:

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill along with other KKR teammates is sweating it out hard ahead of the much-awaited 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. KKR would be hoping to put up a better show this year and the team will be relying on the young shoulders of Shubman for the same.

Though the team had a prolific season last year, however, the team failed to make it to the playoffs because of their poor net run rate.

Talking about Gill, though he managed to score more than 400 runs in the previous season, however, he came under the scanner because of his strike rate as it was only 117.96. It will be interesting to see, how the young gun will perform this year.
