There’s no denying the fact that MS Dhoni is one of the smartest brains in the whole cricketing fraternity. The former skipper has always been praised for his expertise and deep knowledge of the game. With his smartness and knowledge of the game, he took the Indian cricket team to new heights as the skipper of the team.
Recently, Australian umpire Simor Taufel picked MS Dhoni as one of the three smartest cricketing mings that he came across in his umpiring career.

For those who don’t know, Simon Taufel is one of the top umpires in the international scene. He is from New South Wales and he began his journey as an umpire when he was only 24 and by the time he reached 29, he was already officiating in international matches.

Talking in an interview with the popular anchor, Gaurav Kapur, Simon Taufek picked Darren Lehmann, Shane Warne, and MS Dhoni to be the smartest individuals he has even come across.  He further showered praises on MS Dhoni and stated that he has the best sense of humor. He said:
“MS Dhoni, I find him amazing. He’s got one of the best cricket brains I’ve ever come across – [him], Darren Lehmann and Shane Warne would be the top three cricket brains that I’ve been fortunate to come across. MS Dhoni is so calm – he’s so relaxed – but he’s also got a sense of humour that most people wouldn’t get to see,”
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni will be seen leading his team Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, which is all set to start from September 19 in UAE.
