Indian star batter, Virat Kohli, is back on the cricket field in the ODI series vs Sri Lanka. Hew as not present in the T20I series vs Sri Lanka as he has already announced his retirement from T20I cricket after winning the ICC T20 World Cup. In the ODI World Cup 2023, he broke Sachin Tendulkar‘s record of most number of ODI centuries by becoming the only batter to score 50 ODI centuries.
Now, in the ongoing ODI series, he has the chance to break another record of Tendulkar. He needs just 152 runs to become the fastest to score 14,000 runs in ODI cricket. If he completes that in the first ODI, he will reach the milestone in 280 innings while Tendulkar achieved it in 350 innings.

He is definitely the greatest ever to grace ODI cricket with a stunning average of 58.67 to 50 ODI centuries.
