After losing the first ODI in Wankhede, Mumbai, the Indian cricket team has returned back with a bang against Australia in the ongoing Second ODI in Rajkot. The Indian batsmen were in a great form today as they smashed the Australian bowlers to all the corners of the ground.

Before the match started, the Australian skipper, Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to field first. The Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan kickstarted the match with a bang and brought the much-needed momentum to the game in the beginning. While Rohit Sharma went out a bit early after playing 44 balls only, where he scored 42 runs and smashed 6 fours.
On the other hand, Dhawan stayed there and gave company to the Indian skipper in taking the numbers on the scoreboard a bit higher. Shikhar Dhawan gave a brilliant performance, however, he fell short of four runs to score a century. He was dismissed after scoring 96 runs off 90 balls, where he smashed 13 fours and 1 six at the strike rate of 106.67.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, was also in a brilliant form. He scored 78 runs in 76 balls, smashing 6 fours. KL Rahul continued with his brilliant form as he gave yet another thrilling performance. He smashed 80 runs in 52 balls, smashing 6 fours and 3 runs before he was dismissed with a run-out. The Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja scored 20 runs in 16 balls. The Indian cricket team gave a target of 340 runs to the Australian cricket team to chase.
