The news of MS Dhoni joining the Indian cricket team once again has taken the internet by storm. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been receiving a lot of praises from all corners for their wise decision of including the master tactician as the mentor for the Indian cricket team for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
Several cricketers have come out with their opinions on this matter and the latest one to join the bandwagon is none other than the former Indian skipper and the President of the BCCI, Sourav Ganguly.
Sourav Ganguly, who is also one of India’s most successful captains, is delighted to have MS Dhoni on board with the Indian cricket team as mentor for the T20 WC being hosted in the UAE and Oman. The BCCI via their official Twitter handle, shared the statements of Sourav Ganguly on the development highlighted above and thanked Dhoni for accepting the board’s offer to be mentor of the Indian side.
In his statement, Ganguly said that the idea is to use the experience of MS Dhoni for the betterment of the Indian side for the high-voltage incident. The statement read: “Dhoni’s addition to the side is a way to use his experience for the T20 WC. I also thank Dhoni for accepting BCCI’s offer to help the team for this tournament,”
