Sourav Ganguly’s autobiography, named ‘A Century Is Not Enough’ has got his fans really excited. In his biography, Sourav Ganguly has talked at length about MS Dhoni. Sourav Ganguly who led India in the 2003 World Cup wished to have MS Dhoni in his team that played the 2003 World Cup. India had a great world cup in 2003 but lost out to the Aussies in the finals.

It was only the next year that MS Dhoni made his debut under Sourav Ganguly’s captaincy in the year 2004. Both Ganguly and MS Dhoni have contributed immensely to Indian cricket both, as players and as leaders.

if you would remember, in Sourav Ganguly’s last test, MS Dhoni asked Sourav Ganguly to lead as he extended this warm gesture. Sourav Ganguly also recalled this special incident in his biography. Here is what he has written.

“As the match came to a close, Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a surprise gesture asked me to lead. I had rejected his offer earlier in the day, but could not refuse a second time. But I must admit, at that stage, I found it difficult to focus. So after three overs I handed it back to Dhoni saying, it is your job, MS. We both smiled,”
