An emergency has been declared in Delhi as the air quality in Delhi worsened despite early morning showers, schools have been shut, people are being advised to stay indoors as much as possible, however, India and Bangladesh cricketers played their first T20I match yesterday and the results of the first match made it even worse as India was defeated by Bangladesh to go 1-0 up in the three-match T20I series.

Mushfiqur Rahim turned out to be the hero of the match and he made sure to remain unbeaten till the end. Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah also supported him with their cameos, as the Tigers rose towards the victory against the Indians.
Before the match started, Mahmudullah won the toss and decided to let the hosts bat first. The Indian cricket team had a bad start for the first innings as Shafiul Islam removed skipper Rohit with a slower ball.
But it didn’t backfire completely and India somehow managed to score 148 with Shikhar Dhawan scoring 41, KL Rahul scoring 15, and Shreyas Iyer scoring 22, giving a brief scare to Tigers.

Just like India, Bangladesh’s cricketers weren’t lucky enough to get a great start, however, players like Mohammad Naim, Mahmadullah, Somya Sarkar and Mushfiqur turned the tables by scoring 26, 15, 39, and 60 respectively.
As soon as our men in blue were defeated by the Tigers, social media was flooded by the reactions of disappointed fans. However, BCCI’s new president, Sourav Ganguly appreciated both the teams.
