It was saddening to see South African speedster Dale Steyn walk off in the first test after betting a bruised heel. The most lethal weapon of South Africa’s  pace weaponry has been ruled out from the test series as he is to be rested for about 6 weeks.

But Steyn’s departure from South Africa’s squad does not bring any relief for team India as the Proteas have found a replacement in Lungi Ngidi which is being termed as a quality replacement for Dale Steyn.

It looks like South Africa are all set to unleash their new weapon in the very second test and that might come up as being a haunting surprise for India.

2.He is known to deliver express pace going beyond the 140 Kmph mark and hitting the deck really hard.

3.He is able to generate some great bounce given his tall height.

4.Ngidi earned the man of the match on his international T20 debut and wreaked Sri Lanka.

5.He is often described as South Africa’s most promising youngster.

TOUGH CALL FOR PROTEAS CAPTAIN

India is only one down in the series and India would have no option but to bounce back in the series to remain alive in the 3 match series. The Centurion test kickstarts on Saturday and Faf Du Plessis, the South African skipper will have to choose between Chris Morris and Ngidi.

CENTURION WICKET EVEN MORE DANGEROUS THAN NEWLANDS

The wicket at Centurion is being described as the one which will favour the fast bowlers. The pace, movement and bounce in the Centurion wicket will be more than that at Newlands. This means that the trouble would only mount for India at the Centurion rather than be receding.
