Sreesanth Named His Favorite Batsman Currently In International Cricket

The cricketing activities around the world have come to a standstill because of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has affected the whole world. People around the world are asked to stay indoors and maintain social distancing in order to contain the spread of the disease, which has already taken the lives of more than 170,000 deaths, globally.

Sreesanth Named His Favorite Batsman Currently In International Cricket

Cricketers and celebrities from all walks of life are now spending a lot of time on social media in order to break the boredom. From conducting interactive question and answer sessions to going live on social media, these stars are entertaining their fans a lot with their social media games.

Recently, discarded Indian cricketer S Sreesanth also went live with the Helo app. During the live session, the cricketer was flooded with many questions related to cricket. He was asked about his favorite cricketers and favorite moments from the cricket.

Sreesanth Named His Favorite Batsman Currently In International Cricket

During the live session, he was asked his favorite captain, to which he named the legendary captain Kapil Dev, under whom India won the 1983 World Cup as his all-time favorite captain. Sreesanth also named the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli as his current favorite batsman and Jasprit Bumrah as his favorite bowler in world cricket currently.

He also recalled the memories of his last ODI match for team India which was also the world cup final of 2011, that was won by the Indian cricket team. Talking about it, he said:

“In 2011, I was a bit nervous, but Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh motivated me to bowl. And since it was the World Cup and we were playing at home, everyone in the side wanted to win that final at Wankhede Stadium at any cost for Sachin Paaji! And winning the final in front of an electric crowd was a great experience. It was also my last ODI match in India colours,”

S Sreesanth also revealed how he has been spending him time during the lockdown period. He revealed:

“Just having a good time with my wife and children during this lockdown and focusing on my fitness.”
