Another legendary Indian batsman and argubablly the greatest cricketer ever, Sachin Tendulkar is No.2 in this list. In his long career, that spanned around 24 years, Sachin Tendulkar played played 200 Tests 29,437 balls.

Third on this list is Jacques Kallis. Jacques Kallis played 166 Tests and played 28,093 balls. Kallis is arguably the best all-rounder to have ever played the game.  Kallis is also one of the best batsmen in the history of cricket.

Australian legend Allan Border is fourth is the list of most balls faced by a batsman in Test cricket. Border played 156 Tests and faced 27,002 balls.

West Indies’ Shivnarine Chanderpaul is number five in this list. Chanderpaul is one of the most underrated batsmen. Chanderpaul has a very unorthodox technique and he is not a very elegant looking batsman, but he is very effective.
