MS Dhoni become the only Indian batsman to score 200 (or more) sixes in One Day International (ODI) cricket. Dhoni achieved this feat in the second match of the ongoing ODI series against England. Dhoni batted brilliantly with Yuvraj Singh and smashed his 10th ODI hundred.
MS Dhoni was on 197 sixes before the match and he took his tally to 203 by smashing 6 massive sixes. Dhoni already had more sixes than any other batsman but the six he smashed off Chris Woakes made him the first Indian batsman to smash 200 sixes in ODI cricket. Second on this list is Sachin Tendulkar with 195 sixes. But there is a difference of 178 matches between him and Dhoni.
From the current lot, swashbuckling batsman Yuvraj Singh, who scored a brilliant comeback hundred in the match is at number with 152 sixes, Suresh Raina is at number six with 120 sixes, Rohit Sharma at 7 with 117 and Virat Kohli at 9 with 81 sixes to his name.
