Having won the T20 series against South Africa, India has ended the long tour on a winning note. India’s 7 run win at New Lands in the series decider was only the 4th ever by a team batting first. India has made South Africa taste defeat in both the limited over series and have avenged the loss in test series savagely.

India’s performance on this tour of South Africa was nothing short of stellar and sensational. The test series loss would be a little disappointed for team India but then ever since the third test, India has dominated with authority.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar ended as being the man of series for his 7 wickets in 3 matches. His tally of 7 wickets is the most by an Indian in a T20 bilateral series. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya held the record jointly for having claimed 6 wickets each.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar leapfrogged Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya to create this record.
JP Duminy Leapfrogs AB De Villiers

JP Duminy who led the South African side in this T20 series scored his 11th half century in T20Is yesterday. He’s know the batsman with most T20I half centuries for South Africa. He surpassed AB De Villiers who has 10 half centuries in T20 internationals for India.
