The cheery of the cake is the fact that Ajaz Patel, who is a Mumbai-born cricketer achieved this feat playing at the iconic Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai.

With his sensational spell, Patel has become only the third cricketer to claim 10 wickets in a single inning of a Test match. In the ongoing 2nd Test match, he achieved the rarest of rare feats by picking a 10-wicket haul to emulate Jim Laker and Anil Kumble in the elite list.
Jim Laker had registered astonishing figures of 10 wickets of 53 in 1956 against Australia at Old Trafford in Manchester, on the other hand, Anil Kumble had taken just 26.3 overs to take 10 wickets for 74 runs against Pakistan in New Delhi.
The cricketer has also joined the elite list of the best bowling figures in the Test format, which features some of the legendary names including the likes of Anil Kumble, JC Laker, Muralitharan, among others.
