Former Australian batsman Steve Smith is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the cricket world right now. Steve Smith, the right-hander, who was banned for 12-months by Cricket Australia after he was involved in ball-tampering controversy in South Africa, made a solid comeback and established himself as one of the best batsmen.

There has always been this race between the two modern legends – Virat Kohli and Steve Smith for the tag of ‘best batsman’.

With not much happening in the cricket world right now, the cricketers are spending their time on social media more than ever. Recently, Steve Smith indulged himself in an interactive question and answer based session on his official Instagram account.

During the interactive session, Steve Smith described KL Rahul as the most impressive among Indian batsmen. Well, when he was quizzed about which Indian player has impressed him the most, Steve Smith said: “KL Rahul. Very good player!”

“what a lovely gentleman and seriously good player.”

Steve Smith, who has been an important part of the Rajasthan Royals franchise of Indian Premier League, also said that the Indian Premier League is his favorite tournament to contest in.  He said:

“Tough to beat the IPL. Playing with and against the best players from around the world.”

He added:

“Can’‘t wait. Going to be awesome.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Premier League was suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic till further notice by the BCCI.
