No matter the situation of the game, but Stuart Broad has continued his upper hand over Australia opener David Warner.

He dismissed the left-hander in both the innings of the ongoing 3rd Ashes 2023 Test, at Headingley, Leeds, which increased the tally to 17, the number of times Stuart Broad has dismissed Warner. With this wicket, this is the third-highest number of times a bowler has dismissed a particular batsman. Stuart Broad

Australia had gained a slender lead of 26 runs in the first innings in Leeds after Ben Stokes‘ heroics once again with the ba helped them reach 237 in reply to Australia’s 263. Australia would have wanted Warner to cash on the lead, however, in his path stood Broad.

The method was very similar from Broad as it was in the first innings – around the wicket angle to Warner and get him nicking off. That’s exactly what happened. Warner attempted a defensive shot to a ball that kept coming in from Broad’s round-the-wicket angle.

The ball seamed a bit in and Warner didn’t cover for it and nickedd it to Crawlley at second slip. Crawley had also taken Warner’s catch in the first inniings.
