Stuart Broad Gives A Mayank Yadav Warning To Steve Smith For BGT Series – In the IPL 2024 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings, LSG managed to set a target of 200 runs for PBKS to chase within their 20 overs. Something remarkable happened during the chase, as LSG bowler Mayank Yadav achieved a special feat. In IPL 2024, he bowled the fastest delivery ever recorded by a bowler.

The young newcomer reached an impressive speed of 155.8 km/h. In the 12th over, he bowled with such pace that even a well-set Shikhar Dhawan couldn’t help but get beaten while attempting to slash it away. It was truly thrilling to witness him consistently reaching speeds of over 145km/h during his performance. In this game, he managed to take three wickets as well. He picked up 3 wickets for 27 runs in his 4 over spell. He was the main reason that Lucknow Super giants could pull back the match and win it after a strong start from the Punjab Kings openers.

India don’t boast of pacers who can bowl at that pace consistently during a spell. Umran Malik was one such bowler. However, he struggled to get his line and length right. That’s not the case with Mayank as early signs would have it. He did not just bowl ferociously; he hit the perfect line and length which troubled the PBKS batters. Everyone will look forward to his performances in the upcoming matches of the IPL. However, he is sure to be an asset for the Indian Cricket Team in the near future. Meanwhile, India will travel to Australia at the end of the year to play a 5-match test series. India will need ample amount of pacers on the fast pitches of Australia. Former England Cricketer, Stuart Broad, gave a hint that Mayank may be travelling to Australia. He has also sent a warning to Steve Smith about facing the young fast bowler.

“You don’t need to get far ahead. But I have already texted Steve Smith. If you are seeing this guy in Australia in the Test series, get used to it,” Broad said.
