Sudhir Chaudhary Slammed Indian Cricketers After Their Embarrassing Defeat Against NZ

Sudhir Chaudhary Slammed Indian Cricketers After Their Embarrassing Defeat Against NZ: Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team continued their poor run in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. After having lost their first match to Pakistan, team India suffered yet another humiliating defeat by New Zealand last night as they lost this do-or-die match. Team India is now very unlikely to qualify for the semis but there’s still some hope and with the Indian cricket team you never know, anything is possible.

But Indian fans always need a scapegoat and post the defeat by the New Zealand team, the scapegoat seems to be ‘advertisements’ and ‘Indian Premier League’. Yes, you read that right.

Following India’s defeat, several people took to their Twitter and slammed the Indian team for their disappointing performance, while taking a dig at them for performing better in the Indian Premier League and even in advertisements.

Among many, the editor-in-chief of Zee News, Sudhir Chaudhary also joined the bandwagon and reacted to India’s humiliating defeat. In his Tweet, Sudhir expressed how it has become irritating to watch Indian players performing brilliantly in ad films but playing poorly on the field. He also took a dig at the Indian cricketers as he feels all of them wanted to make careers as actors. He wrote:

“So irritating to watch our cricket players playing their roles so well in the ad films but playing so poorly on the field. Seems all of them want to make their careers as actors not as cricketers. #T20WorldCup #IndiaVsNewZealand”

His tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from the fans to it. While many fans agreed with what Sudhir said and voiced their opinions in the same direction, on other hand, many slammed the popular journalist for disrespecting the cricketers and gave it back to him.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on Sudhir Chaudhary’s tweet:

So irritating to watch ‘journalists’ do the job of PR persons and stenogtaphers.

Modi ji is the best!

The only solution to this is only one thing. I’ve before also… Boycott all goods promoted by these guys. We as a notion should come together and implement this. Let the brand’s kick them out.. Let cricket be their only source of income… Then see how quickly things change..

Note: A journalist who hasn’t done journalism in the last 7 yrs, is criticising cricketers who’ve had 2 bad games. https://t.co/F3QePqEmrq

So irritating to watch the media playing their roles so well as govt mouthpiece but failing in fair reporting. Seems all of them want to make their careers as BJP spokespersons not as journalists.

See, i fixed it for you, @sudhirchaudhary https://t.co/bIVqfvWhEO

See the difference. India is the richest cricket board and pakistan the poorest. And who’s on the top of the table and who’s on bottom ? Shame on Team India. Shame on @BCCI https://t.co/xHKpAI7y5Q
