“The way he applies himself is hard to describe. It is beyond phenomenon. If only the West Indies batsmen took a leaf out of his book.“

Sunil Gavaskar also talked about his recent knock against West Indies, where Virat scored unbeaten 72 overnight and later brought up his 24th hundred on the second morning. Talking about his knock, Sunil Gavaskar said :

“On Thursday, he was not very smooth to start off with perhaps because he was coming back after a break. Then he was in cruise control. Despite the heat, he ran hard not just for himself but also for his batting partner at the other end,”

Virat Kohli scored a  139 after his powerful knock against West Indies. The century helped him become the second quickest player to score 24 Test hundreds, breaking the record of Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. The skipper achieved this milestone in his 123rd innings while Sachin Tendulkar had accomplished the same in 125th innings.

Well, Virat Kohli is breaking records and achieving milestones one after the other and he has all our hearts.
