Former Indian captain and legendary batter Sunil Gavaskar was at his savage best as he trolled the Indian journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on live Television. Sunil Gavaskar was one of the panelists on a discussion on India TV, where he told Rajdeep that it would not matter if Sardesai wouldn’t agree with him. The debate was about the alleged rift between the Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, which has taken the cricket fraternity by storm.

Well, while moving towards the end of the discussion, the former cricketer was asked what he would suggest to BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah on the ongoing rift controversy. Gavaskar suggested that both Ganguly and Shah should ignore the matter as there is no substance to it.

However, when Sardesai wasn’t seen on the same page with him, Gavaskar said: “Rajdeep if you don’t agree with me, it doesn’t matter. I won’t lose sleep over it,” while speaking on India Today’s TV channel. Left red-faced, humiliated Sardesai only laughed and kicked aside the topic.

The video of the same has been going viral on the internet and has left everyone in splits. Fans are appreciating the response of Sunil Gavaskar to Rajdeep Sardesai.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, in a press conference, ahead of the upcoming tour to South Africa, Virat Kohli brushed aside the rumors saying that there is no problem or rift between Rohit and him. He said:

“There is no problem between me and Rohit Sharma. I’m tired of saying these things for over 2.5 years. Whatever, I’ll do will never be to take the team downwards. There is no issue between Rohit and me,”

He added: “I was and I am available for selection all this time. You shouldn’t be asking me these questions, you should ask those who are writing these stories and sources, they’re not credible – I was always keen to play ODIs,”
