On Saturday, Bollywood actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol have come out in support of the former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina and his family. He has hoped that the family of Suresh Raina gets justice in a case of a brutal attack in them.
Sunny Deol also met Pathankot Senior Superintendent of Police Gulneet Singh Khurana and discussed the law and order situation of the case. Sunny Deol also enquired about the attack on the family of Suresh Raina in Pathankot.
He took to his twitter and gave his condolences to Suresh Raina and his family. He also wrote that he hopes that the family gets justice as soon as possible. He wrote:
“A positive discussion was held with Pathankot SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana regarding the safety of Pathankot district which is under my Lok Sabha constituency.
“Got detailed information about the issue of Pathankot’s law and order and also the attack on the family of the world’s famous player Suresh Raina. Hoping that the family will get justice as soon as possible,”

Earlier, Suresh Raina had tweeted about the incident, where he sought help from Punjab Police to look into the matter. He wrote:
“What happened to my family is Punjab was beyond horrible. My uncle was slaughtered to death, my bua & both my cousins had sever injuries. Unfortunately my cousin also passed away last night after battling for life for days. My bua is still very very critical & is on life support.
Till date we don’t know what exactly had happened that night & who did this. I request @PunjabPoliceInd to look into this matter. We at least deserve to know who did this heinous act to them. Those criminals should not be spared to commit more crimes. @capt_amarinder @CMOP”
