Suresh Raina Donated Rs 52 Lakhs To ‘PM Cares Fund’ And PM Modi Praised Him In Cricketing Style

On Saturday, the Indian cricketer Suresh Raina took to his micro-blogging site and announced that he will be donating a whopping Rs. 42 lakh for the battle against the outbreak of Coronavirus, which has been increasing rapidly in the country.
Since yesterday more than 200 people have reported suffering from the dangerous Coronavirus, which has taken the total tally of people suffering from Coronavirus to 933, with 20 people losing their lives to the disease. While on the other hand, the number has reached 617,288 globally with 28,377 deaths.

At the time when the whole nation is left in a state of fear and panic, our athletes, cricketers and celebrities are setting an example for the whole country to come forward to contribute in any way they can to help fight the pandemic.
The middle-order batsman or ‘Mr.IPL’, as he is fondly called by his fans, Suresh Raina has donated Rs.31 lakh to the Prime Minister CARES fund and Rs. 21 lakh to the Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh’s Disaster Relief Fund to help the country battle against the spread of Coronavirus.
Suresh Raina took to his social media and wrote:
“It’s time we all do our bit to help defeat #COVID19. I’m pledging ₹52 lakh for the fight against #Corona (₹31 lakh to the PM-CARES Fund & ₹21 lakh to the UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund). Please do your bit too. Jai Hind!#StayHomeIndia @narendramodi @PMOIndia @myogiadityanath”
