Following two successive ducks in the first two T20Is, the Mumbai batsman bounced back with a record-breaking fifth T20I century. The T20I series against Afghanistan marked the return of senior batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who hadn’t played a T20I since the 2022 T20 World Cup. The selectors have indicated their inclusion in this year’s T20 World Cup. With the T20I series concluded, Rohit Sharma will now turn his attention to the upcoming five-match Test series against England, starting on January 25 in Hyderabad.
