Suresh Raina Pays An Emotional Tribute To Sushant Singh Rajput

Fans all around the nation are coming together to seek justice for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was tragically found dead in his residence on the 14th of June. SSR’s death case is being currently investigated by various police bodies including the CBI.
From fans to a few celebrities have voiced their thoughts on this matter and joined the virtual protest to bring justice to the late actor. Talking about cricketers, the cricket community isn’t vocal on this issue with even MS Dhoni yet to speak on the matter. There are many who are talking about the issue, including CSK’s vice-captain Suresh Raina.

Recently, Suresh Raina took to his social media and shared a video filmed in his hotel room in the UAE, with the song’Narazgi Teri’ from the late actor’s movie Kedarnath plays. In the video, stills of SSR are visible on a handheld device. Sharing the video, Suresh Raina sought justice for the late actor. He wrote:
“Brother you will always be alive in our hearts, your fans miss you more than anything! I have full faith on our government & it’s leaders who will leave no stone unturned to bring you justice, you are a true inspiration! #GlobalPrayersforSSR #JusticeforSSR @narendramodi”

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina, who announced his retirement from the international cricket on 15th August, recently reached the IPL venue at the UAE with the rest of his CSK colleagues. He is currently undergoing a 6-day period of quarantine, which is an important norm.
After this period of isolation, the team will resume their practice session ahead of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League, which will kickstart from September 19th.
